How to Reduce Bad Cholesterol Naturally
In my last article, you learned about all of the causes
of high bad
cholesterol. Some of them are things that may seem out of your control, such as
genetics.
But genetics is the least likely cause of your problem. Other
things you will have to make an effort to do on your own. For example, you might need to quit smoking, stop
drinking alcohol or start exercising more.
All of those other factors mentioned in my last article can be
addressed through the use of specific dietary supplements. You will learn about those dietary supplements
here.
The information below is arranged by the causes mentioned in my
last article, just to make it easier for you to figure out which nutrient of supplement does
what.
Low HDL levels
It is possible to increase circulating HDL levels by using
specific dietary supplements.Omega3/DHA fish
oil has been shown to dramatically increase HDL levels,
which reduces LDL levels. As you may remember, HDL particles scavenge LDLs and carry them to the liver for
reprocessing.
Fish oil is now a prescription drug in the US, believe it or
not. Some doctors are stunned by that. Fish oil is prescribed for patients who have very high total blood
triglycerides. Simply that it has been approved for prescription use proves that fish oil is effective for
cardiovascular health.
Inefficient Excretion of Cholesterol
In order for the body to get rid of LDL particles and other
fatty substances in the bloodstream, it needs the health of bile acids. Bile acids are produced in response to
eating and other activities. But some things interfere with bile acid production. For example, the gall bladder
produces a great deal of bile acid. If the bile carrying tubes become blocked by gallstones, less bile acid gets to
where it is needed.
Guess what most gallstones are composed of? They are composed of
cholesterol. D-limonene is type of oil extracted from citrus rind. It is found in supplements like Cholest-Natural
Excessive Absorption and Re-absorption of Cholesterol
The reason the body absorbs or re-absorbs excessive amounts of
cholesterol is because there are no competing nutrients. Phytosterols found in plants are similar in structure to
cholesterol. Thus, they compete for absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. You can get Phytosterols in your
diet, but you may need a little extra help. The Phytosterols in Total Balance can provide the help you need. There
are many customer testimonials concerning how Total
Balance lowered their cholesterol.
Don’t Forget Oxidation
If triglycerides or cholesterol stays in your bloodstream too
long, it can become oxidized. If you are over the age of 40 and have not been taking any kind of supplement to keep
your arteries free of oxidized fats, you need Cardio-Klenz. Click Here
Cardio-Klenz contains a variety of carefully
selected nutrients that are known to break down oxidized or hardened fats and provide antioxidant protection to
prevent further cholesterol oxidation. The supplement also contains nutrients that will further
assist you in balancing your cholesterol levels and lowering total triglycerides
naturally.
